All of the Journal Block challenges!!

Okay, we have had quite a number of new people join the newsletter list and so we decided to post all of the journal block challenges here so that if you would like to join in - you can just work your way through the list at your own pace.
So here they are:

WEEK 1 - Go out and buy a journal book
it can be a spiral or hard bound
and each week you'll be given a different task
to get you journaling like mad
and you won't have to do an actual
scrapbook!!

WEEK 2
DECORATE THE FRONT COVER OF YOUR BOOK
INCORPORATING THE WORDS
MOMENTS & MEMORIES

WEEK 3
Well we're finally getting into it!!
This week we're going to get started - we've
had soooooo many of you telling us that you're
going to be doing this challenge.
Firstly - everything in the book is to be black or white.
So grab your black pen and the first lot of information is as follows:
1. Your Name - if you're married don't forget to put in the name that you were born with! If you're adopted like Annie, don't forget to put in any other names! At this rate - she'll have her first page completed before we get to write anything else!
2. Your date of birth and age.
3. Your star sign and if you are true to your star sign - if you're not into horoscopes put that down too!
4. Your immediate family details.
5. Your favourite food and why - at this moment in time.
6. Your favourite music and why - at this moment in time.
7. What is your passion in life at this moment in time.
8. Describe your hair colour & style - if you want to put in a photograph
don't forget to either put in a black & white or simply photocopy it to b & w.
9. What drives you.
10. What drives you mad!!
DON'T FORGET THAT THIS JOURNAL IS BEING DESIGNED AROUND GIVING A SNAPSHOT OF YOU FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS - AND FOR THAT TIME IN LIFE WHEN WE SIMPLY FORGET A LITTLE MORE THAN WE DO NOW!

WEEK 4 is Friendships
Journal about who the following were
and what you remember about them

and how they influenced your life
1. Your first best friend.
2. Your first school friend.
3. Your first high school friend.
4. Your first boyfriend/girlfriend

WEEK 5
We've had an unbelievable response to groups of you
who are doing the journal block together, but we've also been
constantly asked why we're doing the block in the first place so here goes!
A few years ago, we lost a very very very good friend after
a long battle with cancer. She was 36 years old, fit, active & healthy
and left behind a husband and 2 beautiful daughters aged
almost 5 and 7, and I started to think how it would be
if it was my family in that position, and how much of "ME"
would be remembered. So basically, moments & memories
is in memory of Linda Margaret Pearce.
For this weeks journal block,
List your 5 favourite songs and what they mean to you!

WEEK 6
WHAT IS YOUR NEXT MILESTONE BIRTHDAY
LIST 5 THINGS THAT YOU WOULD LIKE
TO ACHIEVE BEFORE THEN.

week 7
List every address that you have ever lived at, including
as much as you remember about your neighbours
the year that you lived there, and any particular memories.
week 8
As a child, what was the worst thing
that you ever got into trouble for?

week 9
With the thought of the American thanksgiving holiday in mind,
List 10 things in your life that you
are thankful for at this moment in time...

week 10
This weeks journal block challenge is based upon
an email that many of you may have received
during the week!
The following is the philosophy of Charles Schultz, the creator of the "Peanuts" comic strip. You don't have to actually answer the
questions. Just read it straight through, and you'll get the point.
1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.
2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.
3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America.
4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.
5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winner for best actor and actress.
6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.
How did you do?
The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday. These are no second-rate achievers. They are the best in their fields. But the applause dies. Awards tarnish. Achievements are forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners
THE NEXT PART, WE SHALL USE FOR THIS WEEKS JOURNAL BLOCK.

This week, we have based it on Rebeccas first day in the job!
List every place that you have ever worked
List your position in the workplace and
what you remember about working there - friends, bosses etc....

week 12
We would like you to go back to
Christmas gone by!
List your 3 best Christmas memories
List your 3 Christmas memories that you would rather forget!

week 13
Name a favourite Christmas tradition & why you like it -
if you don't have one - why not start one and say why you have chosen
to start that tradition!

week 14
List 3 things that you would like to
achieve in 2006 for yourself. Leave a small space between
the 3 to enable you to fill in the dates that they were achieved.

week 15
Seeing that we're going away this week,
list your favourite summer holiday,
saying where & when
and why you liked it sooooooo much!
Add a copy of a photo if you have one.

week 16
After Annies "long drop" experience!!
What was the worst thing that you have ever had to endure!
Why was it so bad, and did you learn any lessons from it!!


week 17
At this present moment in time - what do you do to relax?
What about it relaxes you and why does it make you feel relaxed?

Week 18
List your favourite movie of all time, say why you love it and what makes it stand out above all others....

WEEK 19
Write about 1 thing that nobody would know about you........

week 20
Whats in your handbag?
empty it out and take a photograph of it all.
Now write about each item - your drivers licence - when did you get it, and any relevant memories, stories surrounding that (maybe your first speeding ticket???)
Your lipstick - what colour is it, what brand?
Your purse, is it full of money.......or just full of reciepts (like mine is!)?
What else is in your handbag? What does it say about you as a person at this time in your life?
Does it have little cars? (to keep your son entertained in boring situations, like me) - showing that you are a parent or grandparent.
Does it have a little brag book of your grandchildren or your pets...........
okay, you get the idea, go to it!!
We will add future journaling challenges here so that should you delete your friday G&T before you've managed to read what the journaling challenge was - you can check here for it.
week 21
there are 4 weeks to go :What is the BEST bargain that you have ever got in a sale?
Week 22
- 3 weeks to go!!
List all of the nick names that you have ever had and where they originated from.....
Week 23
- 2 weeks to go!!
What shoes do you have in your collection and is thereany that have a particular history................don't forget to add photos!!!
Week 24
- next to last week!!

who would it be, why, and what message would you give....
Week 25
-The last week!!!
List 3 things in your life that if you had your time again
you would change......
and why
if there is nothing at all that you would change
say why not......
(we do actually have one final task left for next week...)

May I ask, why is there only 25 weeks? Also, is this to be sent into you? or just kept for ourselves?..Good idea BTW, dont know why I didnt do it earlier.
